Dayspring International began in 1979 when founder John Gilman returned from India with a divine inspiration to share the love of Christ through means of an all-Indian life of Christ motion picture.
|
Directed and produced in India this major motion picture eliminates cultural barriers to the gospel. Every night, film teams of four to five Indian nationals take a film projector and a movie screen (often made out of sheet-like material) and then drive into villages throughout India to show the film to thousands of Indian people.

When villages see Jesus whipped, beaten, and nailed to the cross, their eyes fill with tears. They understand the reality and the saving power of Jesus Christ. Without question, film evangelism is one of the shortest routes to planting the church of Jesus Christ in many areas of the world. The results have been amazing. To date, over 9.7 million people have made commitments to Jesus Christ!
